Alma Max is $99/month for everything in Pro plus the full developer surface (VSCode extension, MCP server, JavaScript SDK, REST API, BYOK to bring your own provider keys) and the largest monthly allowance Alma offers. Email support replies within 24 hours, the fastest tier Alma offers. Right pick if you build with Alma programmatically or run high-volume workloads.
Alma Max is the tier for builders, heavy daily users and teams that want every Alma capability available through every interface — the web app, the editor, the terminal, custom code, and via direct API calls.
What Max includes — everything in Pro, plus:
The largest monthly allowance — across chat, voice, images, video and music. Enough headroom for the heaviest daily workloads.
Programmatic REST API — 140+ endpoints under https://alma.olivares.ai/api/v1. SDK and HTTP both supported. Full reference at /docs/api-reference.
VSCode extension — sidebar chat, slash commands, context-aware memory recall while you code.
MCP server — connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code or any MCP-compatible client to your Alma memory in five minutes (see 5-minute setup).
JavaScript SDK — typed wrapper for every API endpoint. npm install @olivaresai/alma-sdk.
Bring your own keys (BYOK) — connect your Anthropic, OpenAI, Replicate, Leonardo or ElevenLabs keys and route around the platform budget entirely when you need to.
Priority email support — 24h SLA, the fastest response tier Alma offers.
Why Max instead of Pro?
Pick Max when you need any of: programmatic API access for a custom app, the VSCode or MCP integrations for cross-tool memory, BYOK to use your own provider quotas, or simply more monthly allowance than Pro covers. If none of those apply, Pro is the better fit.
Top-ups, annual billing, currencies
Top-ups work the same as Pro: only activate after the monthly allowance is exhausted, carry over 12 months, never consume themselves when idle. Annual billing discounts to $990/year (two months free vs month-to-month). Available in USD, EUR (€85/mo), GBP (£74/mo), and several additional currencies via Polar.
