What is Alma? Alma is a calm, private space with AI that is genuinely yours, built by OlivaresAI. Your memory lives in one place — visible, editable and exportable — while the AI remembers facts, summarizes conversations, and learns behavioral patterns across sessions.
How does Alma work? Alma uses a 3-layer memory architecture. Memories capture discrete facts. Episodes store compressed conversation summaries. Procedures record learned patterns. The Soul Engine assembles the most relevant context into a structured system prompt.
What is the Soul Engine? The Soul Engine is Alma's configurable AI personality and identity system. It defines how the AI thinks, communicates, and behaves — including tone, expertise, guidelines, and behavioral boundaries.
What plans are available? Three plans. Starter ($14/mo): unlimited memories, Haiku + Sonnet. Pro ($29/mo) adds Claude Opus (1M-token context), video and studio-grade music with a larger monthly allowance. Max ($99/mo) adds REST API, VSCode, MCP, JavaScript SDK and BYOK with the largest monthly allowance.
How does the monthly allowance work? Every paid plan includes a monthly allowance shared across chat, voice, image, video and music — no separate credits per feature. It resets on your subscription anniversary. If you run out, top-up packs ($10, $30, $60 or $100) activate only when the monthly pool is exhausted and expire 12 months after purchase.
Who owns my data? You do, fully and unconditionally. Every memory, episode, procedure, and block belongs to you. Your data is never used to train models or shared with third parties.
Is Alma GDPR compliant? Yes. Full rights to access, rectify, and delete your personal data. Comprehensive data export in multiple formats. Complete account deletion with no retention period.
